Producer and Presenter
Ronnie Carnwath
Ronnie has a theory - one which keeps him coming back for more, time and time again. He believes every artist has at least one good song in them. No matter how unlikely this may seem, he is determined to pursue this path. “I’ve played Shirley Bassey alongside Throbbing Gristle, and I don’t see anything wrong with that.”
Described by one listener as: “Always a few classics, always a few things I've never heard and the odd wtf moment”, he sees this as something to strive for at every step.
“If I ever get bored, I’ll put on my hat and ride off into the sunset,” he says. “But while I still hear things that get me all excited, I’m happy to carry on…”

The Eurovision Show was a labour of love – and a way to combine his passion for radio with his guilty pleasure of Eurovision! When not involved in either, he enjoys all things techy, science-fiction film & TV, and is a keen dog lover.

Producer and Presenter
Jan Gow
Born in Liverpool at the height of Beatlemania and Merseybeat, into a household already containing an 18 year old music-mad older sister, it was a forgone conclusion that Jan would be obsessed with music from an early age.
When she was 5 years old, her mum bought her a little portable Fidelity record player from a John Moores catalogue. Jan's sister donated two 7” singles** that she was fed up with, and an obsession was born.
Fast forward 50-odd years and that little red suitcase is now a room housing Jan's collection of more than 2000 albums, 4000 singles, her hi-fi and beloved Rowe- Ami Cadette jukebox. This room is known as The JanCave.

In more recent years she accidentally became involved with community radio – and after presenting and co-presenting on several FM stations , migrated towards more specialist, music-focused radio – aimed specifically at listeners who are true music lovers (and in a lot of cases, vinyl collectors like herself).

This show is devoted to the music from Jan's favourite decade, the 1970s with each episode tackling a specific 70s year’s music, facts and pop culture.

(** Those 2 singles... Nancy Sinatra “These Boots Are Made For Walking” and Neil Sedaka “Oh Carol”. And yes, she still owns both).

Producer and Presenter
Tom Taylor
You may have heard Tom playing in Warrington at Funky Box, or over in Manchester as a Ministry of Sound resident at Pure Nightclub in the Printworks. Tom has also spun at the legendary Mr Smiths, and has held many other residencies across the Northwest, from Baa Bar in Wigan to V Bar in Congleton.
Tom Taylor started dj'ing just before the age of 15 (back in the year 2000). After listening to many DJs such as Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Graham Gold on radio stations throughout the summer, he finally decided it was time to have a go!
Soon after receiving his first set of decks for Christmas, a shiny pair of Plastic Numark Belt Driven turntables with a mini 2 Channel Mixer, he quickly started the learning curve of teaching himself the basics. During this period he started producing demo tapes for his school friends!
In 2008 Tom won a Ministry of Sound DJ Competition at Pure Nightclub, Manchester. Since then Tom has been a Ministry of Sound resident, along with djing for Miss Money Pennies and Clubland too!
By 2009, Tom was DJ'ing 4 nights per week, and most Fridays and Saturday nights playing at sometimes 3 gigs per night across the North West! These places include Baa Bar, Pure Manchester, Funky Box, AXM, and Tiger Tiger!
Tom has played a varying collection of genres from Hard House to House/Deep House and Bass/Electro - of which he still plays today!
20 Years on, Tom Taylor is still DJ'ing, Mixing and now Live Streaming, and you can listen to his House Bangers Show every Sunday at 10pm

Producer and Presenter
Wayne Elliott
Wayne started his PulseBeat Radio Show back in 2016 as he was frustrated that so much great non-mainstream music wasn't getting any airplay. Initially it was mostly an underground punk show but, as both his confidence and the reach of the show grew, Wayne expanded to cover a wider range of underground genres. It's a one hour, new- release based show covering all aspects of the alternative music scene.
Wayne presents the very latest music, news and gig information coming from the underground music scene. Who’s releasing, who’s splitting up, who’s re-forming, who’s touring… it’s all here on Big Satsuma Radio every Wednesday at 7pm on the PulseBeat Radio Show.
